Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June 29th, 2007 Discover Pacific Tours

This morning Captain Manuel and Adrian went on a 4 hour fishing trip with John C. Frank and his brother Mark A. Frank for small game fishing.
They went towards the middle of the bay and they caught 27 Black Skip Jacks. They released 23.
It was partly cloudy and calmed sea.

Fueron a media bahía y sacaron 27 choras. Soltaron 23.

Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June 26th, 2007 Discover Pacific Tours

On Tuesday June 26th Captain Manuel and Adrian went on a 4 hour fishing trip with Mr. Wade McPherson and his daughter Megan for small game fishing.
They went towards Yelapa (on the south side of the bay) and caught two beautiful Black Skip Jacks.
It was a cloudy day.

Fueron rumbo a Yelapa (en el sur de la bahía) y sacaron 2 bonitas choras.

Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June 25th, 2007 Discover Pacific Tours

Finally Mahi-Mahi but, they were too small...
Today, Captain Manuel & Adrian went on a 6 hour fishing trip towards Punta de Mita (the north point of the bay) for small game fishing and they caught several LITTLE Mahi-Mahi so they threw them back into the water.
Even though we may catch Mahi-mahi any time of the year, the rainy season is particularly good for them, and that time is now!.

Finalmente Dorados, pero estaban muy chicos...
Hoy, el capitán Manuel y Adrán fuero en un tour de pesca de 6 horas rumbo a Punta de Mita (el punto norte de la bahía) y sacaron varios dorados pequeños así que los regresaron al mar.
Aunque podemos sacar dorados cualquier época del año, la temporada de lluvias es la mejor época para pescar dorado, y eso es ahora!

Today Captain Manuel and Adrian took Mr. Jean Naveaton on a 4 hour fishing tour for small game fishing.

They went towards Bucerías (north of Puerto Vallarta) and they caught and released 12 Black Skip Jacks.

It was a sunny day and very calm sea.

Today Captain Manuel and Adrian went on a 3 hour fishing (small game) trip with Annie Vanmoons and her husband Alex Matheson.

They went towards Nuevo Vallarta and they caught several Black Skip Jacks.

It was a very cloudy morning and a very calm sea.

Today Captain Manuel and Adrian went with one person only on a 10 hour fishing trip to La Corbeteña for big game fishing.
It was a rainy day and choppy seas, they didn't catch anything.
They only saw one Marlyn.

Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June 14th, 2007 Discover Pacific Tours

Today Captain Manuel and Adrian went on 10 hour fishing trip to La Corbeteña for big game fishing with Mr. Leonardo Ambrose.
It was a rainy morning and very sunny afternoon.
They caught 2 Cravelle Jacks and 2 Black Skip Jacks which they used as bait for there were a lot of big Tunas.
They hooked one but they lost after 30 minutes.

Fue una mañana lluviosa y una tarde muy soleada.
Sacaron 2 toros y 2 choras que usaron de carnada para los atunes gigantes.
Uno mordió un anzuelo pero se escapó después de pelear 30 minutos.

On Wednesday Captain Manuel and Adrian went with Mr. Todd Butch on a 10 hout fishiing trip to Lo de Marcos, a small fishing village north of Banderas Bay.
They caught one Sailfish in a rainy day; they also saw several other among the schools of sardine.

El Miércoles el Capitán Manuel y Adrián fueron a pescar 10 horas con el Sr. Todd Butch rumbo Lo de Marcos, un pueblo de pescadores al norte de la Bahía de Banderas.
Sacaron un Pez Vela en un dia con lluvia y poco sol; vieron varios Pez Velas entre los sardinales.

On Tuesday Captain Manuel and Adrian took Chad Burgess and Brian Tiernan on a 4 hour fishing trip for small game fishing towards the antenna (on the north side of the bay), they caught several Bonitos and there are a lot of sardines still in the bay.

Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June10th, 2007 Discover Pacific Tours

Today, Captain Manuel and Adrian went towards San Pancho & Sayulita (north of the bay in open water) on a 10 hour fishing with Mike Zac Coit (father & son) on a 10 hour trip for big game fishing.

They caught on Sailfish and one got away.

They saw many Sailfish among the schools of sardine in a very cloudy day.

As always, the photo was taken by Captain Manuel with his cell phone.

Pescaron un Pez Vela y perdieron otro.

Vieron muchos Velas entre las sardinas en un día muy nublado.

Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June 7th, 2007 Discover Pacific Tours

Today Captain Manuel and his brother Adrian, took Ron Hornaday, Brian Floyd and Jeff Nowak on an 8 hour fishing trip for big game fishing.

They caught 5 Sailfish, each of them kept one and they released 2.

There still is a lot of Sardines in the bay which is good because there is food for the fish.

Today there was not a lot of sun which made it easier for everyone onboard.

Hoy, el Capitán Manuel y su hermano Adrián llevaron a Ron Hornaday, Brian Flyod y a Jeff Nowak en un tour de pesca de altura de 8 horas

Pescaron 5 Pez Velas, cada uno de los pasajeros se quedó con uno y regresaron al mar 2.

Sigue habiendo mucha Sardina en la bahía lo cual es bueno porque hay comia para los peces.

Fishing Report Puerto Vallarta June 4th & 5th Discover Pacific Tours

On Monday Captain Manuel & his brother Adrian took out a 4 hour fishing tour for small game fishing with Mr. Brian Flyod and they caught 2 Cods in a nice sunny day.

There were many Bonitos and Sardines too but the Bonitos were not biting.

On Tuesday he went out 4 hours fishing to Boca de Tomates (the mouth of the Ameca River) with Mr. Mark Sommers and they caught and released several Bonitos and Barracudas.

El Lunes, el Capitán Manuel y su hermano Adrián llevaron al Sr. Brian Flyod de pesca 4 horas y sacaron dos Bacalaos en un día muy soleado.

Había muchas Bonitas y Sardinas también pero las Bonitas no estaban picando.
